The product launch comes amid an increasing public demand for outpatient healthcare services. Ministry of Health data from December 2025 shows that cases of Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) reached approximately 14.5 million people in Indonesia. Furthermore, several health reports indicate that approximately 5% of patients with three or more comorbid diseases account for nearly 47% of total outpatient costs.

The President Director of AXA Financial Indonesia, Niharika Yadav, stated that rising public health awareness has driven the need for more accessible health insurance protection.

According to a press release, AXA Gen Health offers three protection package options with different annual limits: Aspire with a limit of up to IDR 60 million, Growth up to IDR 80 million, and Hero up to IDR 100 million per year.

This product is available for customers aged 18 to 45, with an annual protection period renewable up to age 55. It can be added to the AXA Link Protector base policy with a minimum sum assured starting from IDR 100 million, allowing customers to obtain outpatient coverage without having to purchase separate inpatient protection.
